Is vo5 bad for low porosity hair?

I just find out I have low porosity hair. Is vo5 bad for my hair? It has protein so I'm not sure if people with low porosity can use it.

It may be ok. I have low porosity, fine textured hair and my hair doesn't mind protein. I don't use it everyday though- I do protein treatments. I actually just upped my usage from once a month to pretty much weekly with no problems at all. You can always try it- usually those aren't very expensive so it's not a huge waste if you can't use it. Everyone at some point may need protein, its just that some peoples hair tends to need it more often.

I've been eyeing this conditioner. Most of my hair is low porosity & glad to know it may work.

I use v05 for cowashing, and I have low porosity hair. ..I love the stuff. I cowash daily

Not all VO5s have protein. I am protein sensitive and live the clarifying kiwi lime for detangling and cowashing.

Co-washing everyday, I use a protein rich conditioner on my low porosity hair without any issues.
