oh, I forgot about this thread

anyway, I found out that that is way too much eyeliner for me to apply on a daily basis - irritates my eyes, and ran terribly during basketball. now I just wear some liquid on my lash line and pencil on both water lines.

also, I don't line my top lid because liquid eyeliner looks terrible on my upper lid. I've tried several times, had other people try, watched videos on youtube...but it just doesn't look good.

Speaking of top eyelids...

How do you apply eyeliner there? I use an automatic/pencil liner, but (this is going to sound gross...) my eyelid is too flabby. Even if I tug it by the corner.

So when I'm done the line is above where it's supposed to be, not on the edge of the eyelid.

1) Look down into a small mirror held at about chest level to apply your liner, rather than looking straight ahead into a mirror. This allows you to better see that "ledge" where your lashes meet your eyelids.
2) If you're using a pencil, put it in the freezer for five minutes (or just store it in the fridge). Then sharpen it before use.
3) If using liquid e/l, use the smallest brush possible.
