Good setting powder for the acne prone?

it's not always necessary.

if you feel you must have it, something really light and very finely milled, like MAC Select Sheer loose powder, is what you need.

I couldn't find an ingredient list online. Do you know what's in Mac's powder?

Slinky, I dislike most commercial powders. Most of them contain cornstarch...perfect food for the bacteria that causes acne. They also contain a lot of chemicals and preservatives. You might try switching to a mineral makeup. Most acne-prone women find their skin improves with MMU.

I've been using BE for a while (now without mineral veil), and I've decided that I want to make a change because it really doesn't hide my pores. I've been just putting on extra moisturizer before I apply the makeup, and that has helped with the oilies...but it is dry and wintery right now.

I have LM oil-free ready to try, and some EM. I see that the LM powder that the site recommends, and I purchased, has a comedogenic ingredient high on the list...so I won't be using that. Mineral veil gives me some breakouts, but not as severe as other powders, so I might go to that out of desperation. ETA: Mineral veil also has another undesirable side effect when used with liquid makeup that I don't like...it is TOO drying!

I haven't been in a usual office atmosphere for a while, so I'm not getting that grease-inducing office air on my skin. I *do* have an oily T-zone filled with blackheads, and I feel like I have to put something on it...especially for professional purposes.
