Default Does anyone else have bacne issues ? Blech!

Bacne is my skin problem no. 1. Its just not cute. I get most on my back, but i do get a few pimples every now and then on my chest. i have some marks left over but they fade usually. still, its annoying.

So I've heard good things about Murad. I bought their body spray treatment, but I'm thinking of shelling out extra money for the body acne wash too, just so I can get it right the first time. Plus, I need a good body wash for breakout control. Their stuff aint cheap though, that's for sure. It's vegan though so I'm gonna try it.

Does anyone else have bacne issues or used to have them?

Yep, I have bacne issues and it's starting to bother me. I think I'm going to purchase some soap from Chagrin Valley and twist my arm to use it on my back There's a bit on my chest, too, so I hope I can combat the issue. I've heard that Neem works well, too.

Before you invest in any specialized products, make sure whatever you're currently using does not have SLS in it. That caused bacne for me. I can use any soap at all as long as it does not have that.

I quit using lotion on my back.
Use Neutrogena's Body wash with salicylic acid then used Nature's Cures Body Acne Treatment. It's salicylic acid in a spray bottle. Apply 1-3 times a day.
At night, I'd apply benzoyl peroxide.
Queen Helen Mint Julep masque is great for spot treatment too.

You can save a lot of money by comparing ingredient lists.

I also had this problem since I was a teenager..(I'm now 36)
until 2 years ago, when I started using something called Carley's Clear and Smooth skin "Kick ass acne Treatment for Teens" paired with their bar soap. I only had to go through one bottle of the "Kick Ass" and since then I've only used the soap...and it hasn't come back since. You have to follow their directions to the letter, but it really works. The only downside is that if you don't wash it off properly, it will bleach out your towels and sheets. I know that sounds like it would make your skin dry, but it hasn't mine at all, and I love the soap.

Oh, and a couple more tips I forgot to mention that seem to help...
1. don't use the same poof to wash your back (if you use one) that you use to wash the rest of your body...use a clean wash cloth each time...since those poofs tend to harbor bacteria that can cause breakouts.

2. Don't use body wash that has that creamy appearace, you the types that are clear (if that makes sense)

3. Make sure that washing your back is the last thing you do in the shower. Since I use so much conditioner, and end up leaving some in my hair, if my hair lays on my back, or drips on it, it will tend to cause breakouts. So I pull my hair over the front of my shoulder, wash my back, and then get out.

I suffer with this too

In the summer is when my acne actually starts to disappear, I don't know why though...

My mom used to rug alcohol on her back when she was young, but it seems like that would be really harsh on the skin.
