Anyone still making their own vitamin c serum?

Are you still getting results? What recipes are you using? I just received my L-ascorbic acid from personalformulators. I use a 27% vitamin c serum that I bought months ago (I'm sure it's not any good anymore) before my sunscreen. I use 0.25% retin-a at night. Anyone using retin-a along with their homemade serum?

I made my own for a while but stopped. I didn't notice any benefits. Then, again, I'm not sure which benefits to look for. What's Vitamin C serum s'posed to do, again?

I'm making my own vitamin c serum with water and l-ascorbic acid. I haven't noticed any differences, but I'm not good a noticing subtle changes. I don't notice when people lose weight, when my car starts making a noise, etc. I'm hoping for extra sun protection benefits for my pale skin this summer. My avi is me at the end of summer with a tan.
