You were asking if HD stands for high definition, right? It does. Or were you asking something else?

I was, I just can't fathom what a high definition face powder does.

It supposed to look more natural, more like real skin while at the same time hiding imperfections and mattifying.

I think what TNB said earlier about it not being wiped off enough is true, but a lot of people have had this problem with that powder. I just think if I ever went out looking like that I would never allow that stuff on my face again!

Myrna, how about a BB cream? TNB might tell you more about them. You might use en lieu of (if you don't particularly need coverage) or under/over foundation.

I tried a couple, both of which had a little irridesence/luminosity, but I'm one of those who still has oily skin at 56, so it was too much for me.

Claudine, I'm living proof that, yes, you can have grey hair and pimples. I and most of my friends have as much or more now than we've ever had It's just in certain spots usually now and maybe not as long lasting, but even though I'm completely in menopause, I still get them - thankfully, not as bad as they had been for a while before the Big M.
2C/3A/3B - modified CG - fairly fine now, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite,CJ Pattern Pusha,, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing w/360o diffuser then clips/clamps & air dry. Newly gray - stopped my henna glosses!

Claudine, have you tried Benefit Dr Feelgood for combatting shine over makeup?

Thank you -- I have, and I like it. In high-humidity weather nothing helps, though. I think I may have trouble with high heat, somehow: my skin flips out, I get dizzy, and just generally miserable.

What are some opinions about NARS powder blushes? Everyone online seems to rave about them, but are they really that great?

Also, has anyone tried the Tarte eyelash curler?

Nothing helps in the summer except lots of blotting papers!
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.

But if I could afford it, I'd still get them all.

What's a good dupe for NARS Gina? I want a color that mimics the natural redhead freckly/flush.

I'm going to look at Madly.

TIA, curly ladies!

Do you go on Makeup Alley, Claudine? It's fun. TNB goes there. I've seen her.

I do, but nobody seems to want to trade with me because I don't have points or tassels or cymbals or whatever you need yet.

It's a bummer.

I don't really interact much, I just lurk. I like looking at the Face Of The Day, and I like reading the reviews of products.
