Ninja came through for me and got me some Full N Soft.
For some reason I haven't seen this mascara in ages and I don't know why.. I do look when I'm in places where makeup is sold.

I always liked Maybelline "Professional" mascara. It had a curved wand.
Long gone now, sadly.

Haha, that's how "Great" Lash works. It clumps all your lashes together into 3 groups, so it looks like you have 3 super thick lashes. Not a good look. I got suckered into buying it once, too. Once I had opened it, one look at the wand told me what was going to happen, and it didn't disappoint. They were 3 of the thickest lashes I had ever seen!

I am fairly pale. I can wear Neutral Ivory in Loreal true match. I can also wear Colorstay Buff. What can I use to contour with? I know bronzer, but any suggestions on cheaper brands and color? I am confused!

What about using a darker shade of liquid foundation to contour? You dont have to use powder. Rimmel, Hard Candy...

I'm not Phoenix, but in the summer I like NYC bronzer in sunny. 3$ It is a matte bronzer. Ideally it would be a hair lighter in color, but it works well for me.

I was going to use a slightly darker foundation, but I chickened out I figured powder would be easier to start. So in that case, I can go with a powder that is a couple shades darker than my normal color?

A regular face powder? IME the color goes on too sheerly to work for contouring.

I've never tried the HIP pencils, but I do like their gel liner. I have two: teal and midnight blue (which I think would also work for you). I've had them for years and they're just now starting to dry out a bit. I was able to successfully revive one of them by stirring some glycerin into it.
I like the UD pencils too. The texture is nice. I don't know if they go on as smoothly/easily as UD claims, but they are smooth. I haven't used my UD pencils in a while. But IIRC they're very soft, so the tip breaks easily. And after several seconds they dry down and don't budge, so blending/smudging is out after that.

Ok, now I'm on the hunt for a good foundation. I need one with good coverage to even out my skin tone and one that will last most of the day. Even when I set my foundation with powder, it tends to "disappear" within a couple of hours. Any suggestions?

^^^Sounds like you need a good face primer. If you have oily skin try using Milk of Magnesia. It's cheap.

I've been using the Studio Gear primer. I like it, but now that I think about it, it is a little slick after applying. I'll have to try the MoM!

I have really oily skin and I use bare minerals foundation and love it since my face is also sensitive, but I need a good primer that will keep me from looking like I'm sweating. Any suggestions?

I've tried the bare minerals primer and idk if it's the way I'm applying it but I still end up with a super shiny face after a couple of hours.

What would be the best eyeliner/shadow/mascara colors to bring out my very dark hazel eyes?
Most pictures and descriptions of hazel eyes look light to me. Mine are quite dark, but they are definitely hazel, not brown. I'd love a few suggestions!
I'm a little worried about glittery shadows - might be allergic, so perhaps keep that in mind.
Thanks so much for ideas! It's great that you are willing to help all of us.
