I'm sorry, I don't know what else to rec for under mineral foundations. I don't use them much. But I have oily skin myself and use the MoM under my (liquid) foundations. I stay fairly matte for hours.

How are you defining "hazel?" More on the green side? If so, I'd try purple/plum. What about a nice metallic/shimmery (not glitter) bronze eyeliner? I think Urban Decay makes one.

i like colorescience mattifying primer spf 20 alot! it has a little brown hue to it but it works well. if you're really shiny you might try makeup artist choice anti-shine. that stuff is excellent!!! it's spendy so try to catch it on sale. i only use that in my t-zone and over my brows but the colorescience i use all over. most days to work i use the colorescience only. if i'm going out or will be in pics i'll add the anti-shine on top.

Nope I haven't. Maybe I will try that (or some kind of mineral makeup I've never heard of those brands - but I will google it).

And yes, I did mean foundation.
Actually it worked quite well (I just got the mineral makeup from body shop, probably not the best, but it gave me more then a good idea), and my skin doesn't look so greased up at the end of the day, awesome! I still break out if I wear too often (like during the holidays).

Any suggestions for putting mascara on lower lashes? My lashes are very thin and light. I finally found a mascara that is working well on my upper lashes, but I still have trouble with smudges and getting it on evenly on the bottom ones.

The easiest way is to hold a tissue under your lashes. Fold the tissue and just lay it under your lashes then apply your mascara. There is actually a product for this, a shield. But I think it is 10 bucks! No thanks. If you need something more rigid than a tissue, use an index card. You could even cut it to fit the shape of your eye.

Hold the mascara wand vertically and sweep it back and forth on your lashes. That should work.
