Me too. I think it helps the water retention go down quicker in the a.m.

Here is a video that shows how to do it. The liner starts at 12:15. She dots the liner on the top lashes and I do a solid line, but it shows the general technique.
The video itself shows impressive no make-up make-up. I love Lisa Eldridge.

I've stopped using my Clarisonic. After several years of swearing by it and being a huge fan, I've stopped and nothing bad has happened (as in no huge breakouts). Let's hope this continues because it would be great to have that pared down out of my routine that already takes me way too long and doesn't even produce great results (hair, face).
I wish my face would stop being stupid and looking so bad. I wish someone would just tell me WTF makeup to buy to cover this all up. I need a makeup fairy to come to my house because I hate shopping.
And why would someone draw on their lips with dark lipliner and fill it in with NOTHING. I've seen this a few times lately, quite unfortunate.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

i'm going to keep trying until i master undereye concealer.
i'm semi-obsessed with reading product reviews on makeupalley.com. my latest thing is reading eye cream reviews. most have bad to neutral at best reviews. are our expectations for eye cream unrealistic?

I find that an eye cream I didn't used to like is now working well for me: Target's version of Olay's Regenerist. I'm just starting to get a little under eye puffiness, especially if I eat too much salt the day before. The Up & Up version helps.

Works better at the sink than in the shower, in order to avoid getting any at all in mouth. It tastes........just.so.gross.
Nice for oil reduction. Who knew?

I <3 make up. I love the artistry, the colors and the fact I can literally reconstruct my face with it! And I don't care if anyone thinks I'm vain for it!

I'm amazed how much of a difference a little concealer makes. I look awake and alert no matter how little sleep I got or how terrible I'm feeling.

It's terrible for those of us with round eyes.
I returned mine within 24 hours.
Also, do not use a blow dryer to heat the pad on your eyelash curler unless you're really good with a curler, or else you may wind up with those weird bent-looking lashes all day.

You are not alone, I do this too. I try to make sure it's not super matchy matchy, but I am usually in the same color family. Oh well. Today it is even purple.
I also wear sparkly shadows, not the super glittery (although I wouldn't necessarly be opposed to it, I just don't have any). I'd say 98% of my eyeshadows are simmer/sparkly.

I think im crushing on Elasta QPs hair products, I got quite a few products from them:
Conditioning creme shampoo
Intense conditioner
H2 Feels Like Silk Leave In
Olive Oil and Mango butter moisturizer
Feels like silk setting lotion/wrapping foam
All the products are amazing, so in love, so I will definitely continue to use these products until further notice. That is all! Lol!

lol...it does create a strange looking curl, doesn't it? I was hoping it would create a more natural curl. Ah well...

@phoenix how do you contour with bronzer sticks, like the NYX Cosmetics bronzer sticks. I have a light one and a darker one but I don't know what goes where? Help please!

if the bronzer is at least 2 shades darker than your skin tone and not too sheer, it should work as contour. And the lighter color could work as a highlighter if it is 1-2 shades lighter than your skin.
Here's what I'd do:
*Use your index finger to find the bottom edge of your upper jaw (some people prefer to suck in their the cheeks and make a "fish face" then they apply contour color to the hollows of their cheeks. But that puts the color too low on the face for me). Just sweep the stick on the bottom edge of your jaw, starting from your ear and stopping no closer than 2 fingers' width from your mouth. Blend out the edges of the color to get rid of any harsh lines. Sweep some color on your temple, near your hairline and along your bottom jaw, and blend.
*Sweep the highlighter on your cheekbones at the highest point (where they jut out most from your face) and blend to soften. You can then apply your blush between the highlighter and contour to tie it all together.

Agreed! I gave mine to my mother. To me, it's just a regular drugstore curler with slightly better pads. I've never been able to use a regular-sized metal lash curler, anyway. My eyes are too deep-set and small to fit them. I love curling mascaras, though!
