Huh (re: Koren).

He has remarkably white teeth.

Is that customary, what he did with foundation? Apply it all the way up to the eyes?
If you're wearing sunscreen (following all directions - time, reapplication, etc.) and still getting tanned, doesn't that mean it didn't work?

Saila, I have been pondering this, and I really think that what someone said earlier was correct: that you did not apply enough initially. Also, make sure your sunscreen has appropriate UVA ratings. Those are the rays which are thought to cause the release of melanin which combines with oxygen to oxidize and color the skin. I have found that a lot of sunscreens from the US (I cannot remember where you are located) do not have enough, even though they are rated as "broad-spectrum". I switched to a sunscreen rated PA+++ (I think this is from the Japanese system) and have had significantly less of this problem. As far as re-applying with makeup, I make sure I have a sunscreen with plenty of zinc oxide which is said to block most of the UVA spectrum.

His vowels are odd: "so" is "sue."

I think he's too rough with his skin.

I guess I will get a higher SPF for my body and keep Mission Skincare for my face since it doesn't clog pores.
I tend to order European sunscreens. They have better UVA protection.

I use Bioderma, but I'm not especially acne prone. LRP seems to be better for those with some natural color because it tends to leave less of a white cast than the Bioderma can.

No!

MAC get back TNB now!
I REALLY want to buy some makeup. I am trying to wait until the MAC release on 4/5, but I am having a hard time holding out. I was just going to get what I want online to relieve the pressure but Modern Mandarin is already sold out, so I am going to cop it all in a store. So I am torn between NYX (on sale at ULTA) and e.l.f (would like a new stipple brush and some of that powdered sunscreen).

OK, talking about it helped. I might be able to wait.

For us sunscreens I like aveeno and neutrogena. I tan insanely easily in this California sun, and my mom, who's a melanoma researcher, recommended those two.

Very interesting.

Thank you.
So, I didn't wait for the MAC launch, because ULTA got me!

But, why I am at work scheming about how to get the MAC product TODAY, when I know they don't launch until tomorrow, but I will be at work and I the stuff I want is sold out online and I know it will sell out before I can get to lunch?!? Didn't ninja say something about how much of a PIA the MAC launches are?
