I wasn't super impressed with the Monroe collection outside the packaging. Possibly because, based on the photos, the only things that would look good on me are the lipsticks lol. I vote skipping on that and getting Yung Rapunxel and Ruffian Red!

I think I agree with you. I am thinking about Y.R and R.R. plus the Monroe lipsticks only. That's all I wanted too. Maybe the dark blue-grey shadow since it's Veluxe Pearl.

The only thing that caught my eye with the MM collection were the lippies too. And this new office hours collection...I'm not moved by it either...however that's subject to change should I see some awesome swatches. I'm waiting on those pressed pigments and the contouring cremes!

They're already available online or are you waiting for the store launch? They are getting some mixed reviews, but someone (on yt, I cannot remember but if I find it again I will post the link) said they are good for eyeshadow in a pinch too. This intrigues me.

Did you try the pressed pigments (I heard they were shimmery like highlighter) and the contour cremes? Thoughts?

I am counting down to the MM collection. I am only excited for the matte lipsticks, but it's been a good year for mattes from MAC. It's about dang time.

No I haven't tried the pressed pigments...they got so many mixed reviews I figured I'd pass. The contour creams seem to be just a cream foundation in a compact. I already have a cream/stick foundation that I contour with when I feel the need so I passed on those two.

I'm on the fence about the MM collection lipsticks. I'm a total lipstick whore so I feel an innate need to purchase at least 1-2 from the collection.

One more thing: I love Rocker lipstick by MAC. I should have bought a backup. I am wearing it today and 1) I can't believe I thought that was bright red back in the day, and 2) it takes me back to the days when my tummy was flat and there was a ton more of life ahead of me lol.

Oh...if your Urban DEcay or was for the $6 shadows, they are listed on urban decay's website for that price as well. Go to the Sale tab. They also have the XL setting sprays for $18 (I got 2) and the roller girl palette for $13. They had a few other palettes marked down as well...I've got chistmas on LOCK for all the females on my christmas list!

I grabbed a few from Urban Decay, but the dark browns were long gone. I really wanted YDK and a couple of others.

I did assuage my anger there though. You KNOW I stocked up on the De-slick spray and I only didn't go CRAZY because I am saving some coins for the MM collection lipsticks. I will feel 100% better after my Sephora dis by grabbing some new matte lipsticks.

Of course when I decide I want a backup, Rocker finally sells out. Definitely shoot me a pm if you feel like parting with your 2nd.

I was supposed to be on a no buy thing, so how do I end up with a new concealer and theBalm's Meet Matt(e) palette? I couldn't help myself, the palette looked delicious. And it was on sale! And I'm out of concealer! That's an essential!

Now all I need is a matte black and my collection is complete! Muahaha!

Went to Ulta & took advantage of their buy 2 get 2 free with some cute nail polish. I enjoy going my nails at home & it's cost effective too. I only splurge with my pedis.

The lady who did my pedi today tried to convince me to get shellac on my hands, natural nails. Does anybody here use this? Pros, Cons other than cost?

I don't think the mineral makeup I found by pur is supposed to be used as blush, but both the color and lasting power are great.

Really feeling the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Mositurizer. LOVE IT!!!!!!

On the other hand, healing from a terrible reaction I had to the BE concealer (it has bismuth oxychloride--which I didn't react to in their original formula of mineral powder so I didn't think it would hurt---IT HURT, my face was on fire). I can't wait for my skin to be well.

The Regimen from acne.org has changed my face! Seriously, it's so simple and amazingly effective. It did more for my skin in 2 weeks than anything else. So impressed that I actually ordered their products (actually better and cheaper than drugstore alternatives). Can't wait until my big bottles arrive!

My face is well again YAY!!!!! I used Mychelle's fruit peel (I'm in love with this), put a layer of moisture, went to bed, and then scrubbed the scabs away the next morning. Good as new--although still a little dry in the cheek area, but the moisturizer I made yesterday with oat and rice protein is bringing moisture back to the area.

Bought the MUFE camouflage palette for my dark under eyes (work be killing me). This stuff is amazing!!!!
