Dear CoverGirl:

I appreciate your zeal in releasing so many different colors and formulations of mascara in the recent months, but could you space it out a little better? I only have two eyes, and my mascara drawer is filling up. How much mascara do you all think I can try in a few months?

Regards,
Sagehen

Today is NOT a good makeup day. Not good at all.

I feel bad for anyone who has to look at me. For some reason, the mascara just on my right eye decided to clump BIG TIME. The other eye looks fine. I did what I could for the clumps, but some of them were very stubborn...

I don't understand the need for women (with not so horrible skin) to wear foundation and powder everyday. It's sad.

I hate the modern plastic brushes (hey I admit I'm an old fogy) but I've kept a bunch of my old curved mascara brushes and sometime swap out perfectly with the new ones.
Thanks for the info!

Oh crap, I thought this was waterproof but it's not. bummer. I don't think I've tried the Lash Blast Fusion waterproof one tho, so maybe I'll give that a go.

Maybe I need to stop obsessing over mascara. : )

To the woman in that local news story who thought you looked so good with that swath of bright, frosty blue shadow right under your eyebrows then again down on your lids, um, you didn't!

That color would be bad anywhere, but you looked like a clown with that strip at the top, a 2-inch gap, and then more down on your lid. What's so sad is that you obviously had worked hard on that look !

I can only hope you saw yourself on the news and could really see it for yourself. Unfortunate for it to take such a public lesson, though.

Just sayin' . . . .

On topic, I haaaaaaaaaate color on my face. I feel best with a neutral type of look. I feel ridiculous and overblown in strong colors on such a pale face.

I love color on my nails. Darks, brights, lights, whatever. My face and hands are the same color, so the logic baffles me.

i wish i could pull off red lipstick but i really cant. i think its because its such a bold color that it draws attention to my uneven teeth so i like lighter colors, the brightest color ive worn is a magenta
