i must have rocked the makeup this morning because THREE women stopped me in the grocery store tonight to ask what i'm wearing and tell me how good it looks on me!

and i am wearing MAC Deckchair pigment (from 7 years ago) with just a touch of Fake eyeshadow (discontinued) using Dark Edge (also LE and discontinued) as a liner with Teddy on the lower lash line along with Frenzy lippie.

What is up with WalMart these days?

They still don't have my Maybelline light brown brow pencil. It's been out for weeks. And they're out of Monistat AntiChafing cream/gel too.

I need that Tweezerman lash comb in my life.

I watch all these makeup and lifestyle gurus on Yt and I feel so lame. I have a closet full of awesome clothes that I don't really wear and I have quite a bit of makeup that I hardly ever use.

I've been wearing sweats, bunning, and doing the natural look for months so I can be comfy and sleep as long as possible. What's my deal?

Sometimes I wander if this is what a drug addict feels like.. Whenever MAC has a new collection I get this restlessness until I see it in person. Maybe it's the "Limited Edition" that causes it.
I truly am a MAC harlot.

Midgi, when you figure it out let me know please!!!! I'm trying to break the habit and I can't even get myself motivated enough to do it daily for work. I have some really fantastic outfits, suits, shoes, and a whole lot of MAC...I recently went shopping, my thought was, if I buy more cute stuff, I will want to get dressed up because it's new and cute! NOPE! Same sweats to lounge in, and slacks with a sweater for work. (and I'm supposed to wear suits but I can get away with it because I have my coat on all the time-I drive all day for work). Just pure lazy! When you find the cure for this laziness, please post?!

I did this to shake up my style and force myself to take style risks but it might work for you too! I forced myself to wear at least 1 item (the ideal was 3) in my closet that I hadn't worn in months every day for 2 weeks. You'll be surprised how many new outfits you can come up with that are still work/play appropriate!

Giddy typing everything I bought. Ended up going to two stores because of course one didn't have everything I wanted.
Tour de Fabulous-"Knockout"
Naturally- "Fresh Air" & "The Wee Coquette" lipglass/ "A Perfect Day" lippie/"Fresh Honey" & "Early Morning" blush

AND when I got home had a pkg on my doorstep for MAC.com

Tour "Check this Out" glass/ Naturally "Just my Type" lip pencil/ Iris Apfel shadow "Howzat" & regular "Neon Orange" lippie
I had a GOOD day! LOL

start with primer, wait for it to dry completely. use a narrow angled brush to apply.

i find it better to use a pencil and then go over with shadow, but i tend to wear the same 2 colours (MAC Teddy or Prunella) with just about everything.

Tru - you DID have a good day! i'm jealous!

and i did good with the makeup *again* today - because the MAC salesperson complimented me!

i'm wearing the pro pigment that's a lavender/lilac shade (lost the label years ago) with CoCoBeach pigment in the crease, no liner, but lots of mascara. then i wore Entwined lipstick with VG6 LE lipglass (the pink one with Fergie as spokesperson). and Stero Rose as blush because i have a cold and needed the colour in my cheeks!

Ninja, the other thing to try is mixing the powder shadow you want to use under your eyes with a fixative like Urban Decay All-Nighter or MAC Fix. for long-lasting liner, i use Skindinavia MakeUp Finishing spray - a tiny spritz in my palm and mix my shadow with it. it stays all day, even on hot, humid days.

Sounds like a plan. I was also thinking about just going through and trying everything on, to try and get some inspiration that way as well

I have officially exceeded my storage space for makeup and hair products. I am on a no-buy for real (after these two packages come this week).
