UPDATED Replacing GCC from PSF (totally necessary)

Thanks!
As for organic stuff, PSF is all about natural, too, but they cut to the chase and give you the important details. When I've tried finding a non-detergent cleanser it's all: blahbitty blah blah organic milk from just birthed yak that will hydrate your skin, distilled Icelandic snow purifies the skin, ground seeds of nightlock berries serve as powerful anti-oxidants, blah, blah, blah. Oh what's that, you can't give me a full ingredients list? Or better yet, all those things are in there along with SLS, or there's seemingly no actual cleansing agent. Forget getting a PH out of them!

I haven't found it to be drying the way some do, but very little will be drying on my oil slick in the summer. Nothing increased redness or irritation, which is a plus for me.

I think I looked at that cleanser the last time I was in TJ's. I don't know what it was that caused me not to purchase it. I did buy their Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer. I don't need a moisturizer during the day, but I use this at night, alternating with the PSF Retinol Night Repair. I really like it.

LOL @ Saria's post on natural and organic cleansers. That's so true!

I started using this one today. I know diddly squat about ingredients or any details about what should or shouldn't work for me, but thought I'd post it just in case it would work for anyone. My skin is pretty much an oil slick 24/7 no matter what I use and I try to tell myself that I'll appreciate that one day when I haven't wrinkled as early as I could have. No idea if that's true, but it helps me feel better when most of my makeup has fallen right off about 3 minutes after applying it.

I checked and it is the regular CeraVe I have so maybe I'll try it again at some point.

ETA: Sorry saria, this one has no yak milk in it.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I find it sort of funny she's screwed if she didn't get the virgin harvested sweat.

We went away for our anniversary this past weekend to a city that actually has a whole foods...yay! It's wonderful being a part of civilization. Anyhow, while there I bought Alaffia unscented Liquid African Black Soap. I'm quite shocked at how much I like it. I never thought me and my oily skin would ever use anything with shea butter in it, but so far I'm really liking it. I know it's only been a few days, so I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed. Here's the link in case you're interested:

I was at Whole Foods, so I picked up Earth Science's ADE cleanser because of the 5.5 PH, though I'm slightly hesitant because it is supposedly for dry skin. I also got the purifying cleanser, which is 5 PH. It's the one Eilonwy was also using. I don't know how she's liking it, though.
I still plan on picking up CeraVe Hydrating cleanser at some point, too.
When I bought the african black soap at whole foods last weekend, I also picked up the clarifying cleanser from earth science. I'm using, and liking, them both. I have one in the shower and one at the sink. I've used their ADE cleanser before, in the winter. It's very soothing and rinses clean. For me, it would probably be a little heavy for the summer, but I have pretty oily skin.

ETA: you can get the earth science cleansers at vitamin shoppe; that's where I originally got the ADE cleanser.

I should be able to use the ADE fine since my skin isn't particularly oily.
I started with the clarifying cleanser and I'll say this for it: already my skin feels much better. It's hard to explain, but for the past few weeks, my skin felt really odd whenever I washed it. It felt rough and bumpy, but not in the sense of a breakout exactly. It would feel okay once I moisturized it, but as soon I would wash it, it was that unpleasant texture again. It feels nice and smooth again whenever I wash it with this cleanser. Hopefully I'll finally get rid of this incredibly persistent breakout along my forehead.
Then Nutribiotic isn't working for me, which I suspected just because it's cheap, comes in a pump bottle and it's a large amount which are all things that would be nice to find in a product which means it will never happen.

More wasted money and let the search continue. I don't even know what the hell to try next.

^Say it again: **** PSF.

What about the CeraVe Hydrating cleanser?
Or you could try the Earth Science. I'm liking it so far and it's not too expensive (it's fairly concentrated).
I'm finishing up some Shaklee cleanser that I got (it's almost gone and it was ok, but I don't like it enough to order it again) then I'm going to try the CeraVe again and look for Earth Sciences next time I'm in Whole Foods.

The Nutribiotic gave me tiny little pimples. Yay.

I've put the black soap under the sink to use later in the colder, drier months...it has plenty of company under there!

Alrighty, I've been using the CeraVe for about a week now and my face is still broken out/breaking out and I'm just not liking how my skin feels.

I came across a blog that mentioned using ACV mixed with water on the face to help with breakouts and I'm also giving that a try. I noticed the first night I used it after I washed with CeraVe that a LOT of makeup came off on the cotton ball. I don't wear a lot of makeup (most days just powder, blush and eyeliner) so the CeraVe isn't getting my face very clean and I'm using two full pumps of it. Am I cleaning my face wrong??

My local grocery has both the ADE and Clarifying Earth Science cleanser so I guess I'm going to give one of those a try. Since I have extremely oily skin maybe the clarifying is the one to try first? It's $10 so I'd like to only try one instead of wasting MORE FREAKING MONEY.

I've been having a lot of skin problems lately. Its like weird '30's' skin issues.

I have Oil of Olay Age Defying cleanser (used to be a fave), CeraVe, L'Oreal Youth Code, Dr Bronners w rose oil, and Avon Clear Skin in my shower right now. Seriously.

Okay so I'm liking Philosophy Purity Made Simple oil cleanser as a makeup remover, and daily I use Baby Magic baby wash as a morning cleanser - Baby Magic is one of the only liquid soaps that doesn't irritate my skin - I use Youth Code twice a week BC it has salicylic acid and its good for exfoliation, and I use Avon Clear skin a few times before my period.

Whew. Seriously. Too complicated.

I like Neutrogena Rapid Clear spot treatment so I think I may get the cleanser for my before period cleanser when I run out of others.

I am using Yes To Cucumbers moisturizer. Its for sensitive skin and it seems like the only lotion that isn't breaking me out.

I occasionally do a clay mask. And I use vitamin E oil under my eyes.

Once it's done I'll use the ADE, then I'll know which one I like better.
I think I got them for $9 or maybe a bit less, but they may have been on sale.
