Default Help!! How do I even out this tan??

So I'm in high school and I play lacrosse and, naturally, I've been out in the sun a lot this semester! As a result, I have a relatively noticeable tan line due to my jersey.

Here's my dilemma: prom is coming up! And my dress has thin straps that will show my tan lines. Any ideas on how to even them out? I have about two weeks.

Also, I'm black, medium skin tone, about the same complexion as Jada Pinkett Smith.

Thanks all!

Two options I can think of, tanning salon, and use SPF on the parts you don't want darker. I would guess SPF of at least 30 should be enough to prevent getting more uneven. You would most likely have to use stand up beds as lotions not made for booths can destroy the glass. And apply it at about an hour before tanning.
Second option, gradual self tanner. Apply every day on the areas that need it until desired color is reached.
