Never heard of it.....
But I'll tell you, you don't need it. Go to Whole Foods or your local health food store and get some bentonite clay. Just mix with h2O to form a loose paste. If you want, b4 you add the water, you can boil it and dissolve two aspirin(it has salicyc acid, an acne medication) and a little dried thyme. But just the clay and h2O worked wonders 4 me! Your skin may be a little dry for a day or two but it's worth it. Don't use more than once a week... Sent from my SPH-M910 using CurlTalk App |
Bentonite clay won't cure real acne, although it can help clear out pores and dry the skin. And aspirin is not salicylic acid. It's acetylsalicylic acid...a derivative of salicylic acid, and it doesn't work the same and it doesn't work on acne.
Acne is caused by bacteria and oily skin that is defective in it's ability to exfoliate itself. You can control mild acne with OTC treatments, but real acne, acne vulgaris, is best treated by a doctor, and even then, it's notoriously and ridiculously difficult to cure. |
That's a big fat trap. Much of the medical industry is a money making scheme. I will agree that there are a great many things that are best handled by a doc, acne is not one of them.
I've had "real" acne ever since I was 11. Bentonite clay freed me. All my friends have this nice, even, smooth skin....and here I am hiding behind covergirl. This week is the first week since I was 16 that I went out of the house with no makeup and still felt beautiful. Sent from my SPH-M910 using CurlTalk App |
