Make up/skincare HGs share your"fountain of youth"secret products

My HG product is Mesocopper spray. (Just google it).

It is absolutely amazing. I am 54 years old, and have yet to find anyone who thinks I'm over 42-45 or so... and I just started using it in the past year.
The nanoparticles of Copper evidently spur the formation of collagen. I do three quick sprays on my face and one on my chest 2x/day... I can really tell when I forget to do it.

I also like Olay total effects 'mature skin therapy', as I'm post-menopausal, YMMV. But I think the Mesocopper is a HUGE find.

I do have one caveat though, generally things I start out liking end up disappointing me. But for the price and the results so far I am very happy.

You guys are gonna think I'm wacky.

I exfoliate my face every day with a green ScotchBrite scrubbie and Pond's cold cream. Then I moisturize with Johnson's Baby Oil.

Here's me without makeup. I'm 35 going on 12.

ETA: Just a fun fact to further prove this works - I also smoked for 20 years! Quit 4 years ago.

A lot of water
Good sleep

Im only 23 but have been through my share of skin problems but now my skin is as perfect as it could be.

I have skin that is prone to be oily and was told that I should not exfolia. My skin was dull, I had bad acne and I had pretty big pores. I now exfoliate 2 times a week and my skin is clear, pores are smaller and my skin glows. I am not nearly as oily as I once was.
I'm only 25 years old but I am committed to youthful healthy skin for life. I suffer from hyper-pigmentation on my neck from acne in my teens so my HG's involve skin lightening products. I avoid hydroquinone at all costs because it causing skin sensitivity and can result in darkening of skin over time.

I'm intrigued by the MesoCopper spray also. I'm skittish about spraying anything directly onto my face, so I would have to spray onto my palms and then apply to my face. I wonder if that would impact how well it works. I'm still skeptical about it, so I'm trying to read more reviews about it before I buy.

Would love to hear more from my fellow curlies who tried it!

I have psoriasis, and I have experienced very nice results on some of my lesions by applying copper serums, because copper has some anti-inflammatory properties. I thought I'd try one of these copper water products, thinking it would be easier to apply more often than my usual serum, less messy, etc. I just don't think there's enough copper in it to do anything. I'll stick to my Pickart Super CP Serum.
Thanks, RCW. I'm trying to get over a bout of "dermatitis" without continuing the Rx stuff my derm prescribed. When my skin stabilizes in the normal zone, I will look into the product you mentioned.

I wash my face twice. After I remove my makeup I wash with a cleanser and then I use my clarisonic Mia 2 and cleanse with that.
I do a facial once per week, usually while I'm doing a deep treatment for my hair. I cleanse, steam my face to really open up the pores, and I do a face mask. Sometimes I make my own with raw organic honey and olive oil or olive oil and avocado or just a store bought Dead Sea minerals mud mask.
I also moisturize my face with natural oils at night. Borage oil which I did a blog about is amazing for my skin. It helps with certain skin conditions like eczema, acne and psoriasis (which I don't have) but it is an amazing moisturizer and it makes my skin look radiant and even. My husband actually started using it too. It was featured on the Dr. Oz shown about secrets the beauty industry does not want you to know.
Getting enough sleep also does wonders for my skin and keeping hydrated helps.

I tried the copper peptides but much prefer a vitamin c cream. (And I don't think copper and C are supposed to be used together but I may have that wrong). I have used l-ascorbic acid, which is a type of vitamin C, for a number of years now with good results. I've used Skincuticles, Cellex-C, and several other high end lines. They do deliver but the price is outrageous. I finally began making my own and it works just as well, IMO. My skin is smooth and wrinkle free (and I'm no spring chicken). It's really good stuff, IF you react to it. I am lucky that it works for me, but it doesn't work for everyone. Makeupally has good reviews for home made vitamin c. I am currently trying some products from Skinactives. This is a good site to buy either ready made formulations or ingredients to make your own. Vitamin C is well worth trying. That and always wearing sun screen are two of the best things I've ever done for my skin.

I am only 21, but people who don't know how old I am say I look about 17-18 years old. My mother also looks 35 when she just turned 42. She told me to stay out of tanning beds, wear sunglasses and SPF is an absolute must. She looks good so I am going to listen to her! lol
I'm pretty young as it is but any sort of stress just immediately wrecks my skin and my skin used to just be crappy. I pretty much use only Clarins products now and they're amazing! But if I had to picks absolute, HG products, they would be the beauty flash balm and the double serum.
