Default Retractable lip brush or one with a cover?

So I was thinking of buying my mom a lip brush, but I'm not so sure i know which one to get...I'm considering these three:

Paula Dorf:
PERFECT RETRACTABLE LIP BRUSH - $22.00 : Paula Dorf Cosmetics

Dior:
Dior 'Backstage' Lip Brush | Nordstrom

Bobbi Brown:
Retractable Lip Brush | Bobbibrown.com

First two are retractable, last one is covered. Will the retractable ones be more hygienic? Are the caps of the covered ones easy to lose? Let me know!

Or is it all just a matter of preference?

Thanks, lassies!

I wouldn't pay that much for a lip brush. Sally's has retractable/covered ones. I have a high-end one and the cap still comes off. My Sally's and Revlon retractable and covered brushes have lasted a while. Covered ones are more sanitary than just retractable IMO.

I understand the preference for capped brushes, but my mon can be pretty bummy with her tools and will most likely just end up losing the cap.

I'll look into the sephora brush tho, thanks!!
