Green tea....

Hi guys! I recently read that Green tea has benefits for your body. One thing it is meant to do is improve your skin? Does anyone have any experiences with using or drinking green tea that benefitted them? Thanks for sharing!! :)

I drink green tea every day. Have done for years. I think there are many health benefits to drinking it, but I do not think it does much for the appearance of my skin. I still have acne troubles.

I drink green tea and have problem skin. I drink green tea several times through out the day.

But please do report back with your progress.

So far nothing apart from needing to pee more!!! I have only been drinking it for a week, and I'm sure it does alot inside, but so far no improvement in skin, i think it is better to have green tea in products and that is when it benefits your skin. Xx

Drinking green tea had no visible effect on my skin or hair. I guess it helps from the inside. I would take my used tea bag and wipe my face with it and wash it off after half an hour. I did this for two weeks but with no visual effect , so I quit doing it. But I still drink it.
I guess maybe in the long run it will prove beneficial. I have heard green tea helps soothe the skin after exposure to the sun, when applied topically. Thats all I know about green tea .
HTH :)

Green tea has numerous benefits: from helping your metabolism to work faster, improving your digestion and deconstructing fat much faster; to preventing diseases due to presence of antioxidants that ward off germs and bacteria, to helping lower cholesterol and blood pressure.

My Opinion.

Yes, You are right. I am also know about it. I also try it and found very good results, feel great changes. According to me green tea is most effective to weight loss. It also make our skin smooth and fair. Must try it.

Iv been drinking it for two years and love it, it definitely helps me to maintain a healthy weight. I use it as a toner after cleansing sometimes and 2 used green tea bags over the eyes really helps reduce puffiness and dark circles. As for my skin it hasn't helped it clear up like I hoped but the antioxidants in the tea should help slow the ageing process.

If you suffer from hormonal acne in the chin area try spearmint tea, it is supposed to help lower androgens(breakout causing hormones)
