Hi Jasmine, Not everyone agrees with this, but in general, it's been proven that food doesn't have that much to do with spots or acne. They are caused by the natural hormones that your body produces now that you are becoming an adult. It might help a little to drink extra water, but in general, your diet or lifestyle isn't causing your problem.
You can try drugstore remedies - maybe ask a friend you trust or perhaps other curlies can make the best suggestions on that for you. Cleanse gently with mild soap (like Dove) and water and get extra rest. f it doesn't get better, you need to see a dermatologist (skin doctor) for the best remedy.
Definitely deal with it before it gets worse. I had it years ago and it was awful. Good luck with this - the treatments nowadays are much better than when I was your age.
