My cousin has been doing this for her eyebrows and it's working really well!

I know there are actual mascaras and products you can purchase that will help your eye lashes grow, many I have heard of are meant to be applied over night.

I have also read that castor oil helps and I read about and saw a few videos about applying vaseline to your lashes at night to help them grow. At first I didn't believe this at all but after some time of doing it I have actually noticed a big difference in how long and full my lashes look so I continue to do it. I think the point is to try and nourish your lashes over night. When I wear mascara now people often think I am wearing false lashes when all I have been doing is using vaseline before bed and my usual mascaras.

So with anything you use on your eyelashes? Fo you keep it on all night or just put it on then wash off later? X

There is no scientific evidence that castor oil (or any oil) promotes hair growth. I really don't see it as even a logical conclusion. Oil clogs pores, so why would that promote hair growth? Makes no sense.

Rogaine does promote hair growth on the head and eyebrows. For lashes, Latisse works. Anything else? Snake oil.

I've been using PSF's Prolatogen for the last several weeks and have new eyelashes growing in - I can see the new growth. It's less expensive than Latisse and had no side effects.

At $65, Prolatogen is still pretty expensive. I use generic Latisse that I buy from India for $10 a bottle. I have experienced no side effects, only longer/fuller lashes.

Castor oil has helped me recover from clumpy mascara. It might help thicken them so the weakened lashes do not fall out.

Yes, Castor oil is very good for eyelashes but other than that there are so many home remedies which helps to grow your lashes like Petroleum Jelly, Green Tea, Olive Oil, Lemon Olive Oil, Eyelid Massage and you need to take proper diet which is very important.

Before, I used Vaseline. It worked really well. Unfortunately, now my left lashes are longer than my right lashes! I've moved on to castor oil, which works, too. I apply it every night to my lashes and brows, and leave on until morning.

I use the generic Latisse (from India) and use 1 drop a night applied with a eyeliner brush.
I've use Silk Naturals eyelash conditioner. I felt it helped condition but not grow my lashes. My lashes now touch my eyebrows without being curled. First time I've ever had long lashes.
