Replacement for PSF GCC

I have tried 4-5 cleansers since PSF discontinued Gentle Cleansing Castile and finally think I found a good replacement -- Giovanni Dtox Facial Cleanser. Here it is:

Yes, it is gray, but it is wonderful. It has a little foam, cleans well and does not irritate my sensitive skin. No itchies, no tightness and no redness.

Best of all? It's about $8 a bottle. I bought mine at Vitamin Shoppe. I've been using it for more than a week, and am very happy with it.

I think I'll try this, it sounds interesting...thanks! BTW, I am using, and like, Earth Science's ADE Creamy Cleanser. It cleans well and rinses really clean. I like it much better than their gel cleanser, which, to me, was much harder to rinse off and left a bit of a film. Just an fyi! :)

I'm using the PSF cleansing bar. It's not bad.
PSF seems to no longer be selling their foaming cleanser, which was what got the GCC booted. I wonder if a few of us couldn't maybe send some emails their way expressing interest in the GCC being brought back. They didn't care when launching a new product, but seeing as how that obviously didn't work out for them, they might consider listening now.

The PSF foaming cleanser is back on their website. I've been using the bar also. It's not too bad. I've sent emails and posted on their Facebook about GCC but I don't see it back yet.

They said they would have had to raise the price to keep making it because it didn't sell that well.
Uh, I was willing to buy the foaming cleanser for double the price of the GCC except that it really wasn't good for my skin.
They said if there continues to be demand they might consider bringing it back. I'm thinking of getting some friends to leave them a message on their page. If they brought it back I would hoard the hell out of it.
The bar is okay, but it's not as good as the GCC. It's the best of what I've tried. Sigh.

Ya know, I'm really digging this cleanser. It absolutely doesn't dry out my skin, but cleans it well. In the shower, I use it like a mask and leave it on for a few minutes while I'm washing the rest of me. I've also been using it both at the sink and in the shower with a microfiber cloth.

Thanks for the rec! :glasses8:

I'm glad you like it, VTmom!

I'm still using it with good results. My skin is so finicky that I'm pretty loyal once I find something that works.

I've been wanting to try this but I found a really good product myself. I got it as a temp product at walmart when I was on vacation and left my stuff at home. PSF was the first cleanser I used regularly and did not break out with, and now this one is doing just as well -

It's also only 7-8 bucks.

I noticed that this product and the one that you are using have Cocamidopropyl Betaine, which doesn't seem to be an issue for me but not sure if that's bad or not.

I'm close to running out of PSF castile cleanser. I don't even remember when I bought it, it lasts a long time. I came online to order more only to discover it has been discontinued. A google search brought me to this thread.

I found a link on pinterest to making your own foaming castile cleanser. RCW or anyone else, any thoughts on if this would be a good cleanser with the appropriate ph?
