Maybelline Baby Lips
I was admiring how pretty and natural and YLBB (your lips but better) my daughter's lips were looking, and she told me about Baby Lips. The name alone was enough to get me to try them...who doesn't want baby lips???
Baby Lips is a like a cross between a balm and a gloss...more sheen than a balm, but less than a gloss. With a very good color payoff for an inexpensive balm. Just a nice moist wash of color, that lasts and stays moist for hours, not sticky or waxy. Very youthful, yet not childish. It comes in clear, peach, pink, cherry, and grape shades. Easy to find in any drug store, and cheap enough to try them all.

I have the uncolored version of this and love it.
I got it in a holiday gift exchange. I'm glad as I never would've bought it otherwise.

I've seen it at Rite-Aid.

walmart, k mart, TARGET (lol, remember that??), cvs, rite aid, walgreens, grocery stores.
I own two, the color ones suck for color, I mean don't expect much color (not that I was expecting much color). I'm going to try the none color one next time.
But for chapped lips purposes, I don't know, I don't use them consistently to say if my lips have turned into those of a babys as I am the chronic lip balm loser of the year.
They're usually on some kind of BOGO at drug stores. Thats why I have two.

The closest Wal-Mart and Walgreens doesn't have it. I hate make up but this is an exception.

How do they compare to Revlon's lip butters? Because I kind of hated those and I'd like to avoid products like that in the future...

not close at all.
This is more like a chapstick with a gloss. Those lip butters...were like butter on your lips...like actual butter.

I am a close runner up! My favorite is Neutragena tinted lip balm in plum. It's just enough color so my lips don't look white, which they normally do. I have 2 of these but cannot find them now for over a week. I will try the Baby Lips!

I think the Baby Lips are decent but they don't last as long on my lips as the Eos lip balms. I have the clear and the pink punch colour which I like.

I hated Baby Lips. I just really hated the texture. *shrugs*
I love my Eos and would not trade it for the world (and the tub lasts forever as well!).

I hated eos and it was too big for my pocket.

I thought the Eos tasted like stevia/saccharine. The shape is cute, though.

Really??? Never noticed, lol. And a for the pocket thing, nothing fits in the pockets of these tight jeans so I just keep it on my purse where the huge size is an advantage...!
Each to their own, of course! I liked the Burt's Bees tins too - they tasted like After Eight mints. Mmmmmm.

I love the one in Grape since my lips are already pigmented. Totally love the YLBB look.

I have three of these and love them! Well, I love two of them. I have the nude-ish color in the purple tube, the clear balm, and also the pink one... Which looks HORRIBLE on me. But I've seen it look nice on other people.
My lips are very soft as of late. It doesn't seem to do the same thing that Chapstick does... My lips are soft now, just in general. When I'm using Chapstick or something similar, my lips are only soft when the Chapstick is actually on my lips. As soon as it's gone, they start to feel dry and cracked.
