PHANTASM
PHANTASM
This one I think is gonna be a keeper.
Bottle - has a really nice light lemony scent
Wet -- smells like a lemon drop but not overly sweet; really light and refreshing
Dry -- 6 hours later I can still smell it if I put my wrist up to my nose; really light lemon; doesn't seem to have any throw, but then I can't always smell it on myself when others can.
This will make a great summer scent. Think I'm going to have to have me a bottle!

LADY OF SHALOTT
"The scent of calm waters just before a raging storm, limned with achingly-beautiful blooms, an icy scent, but somehow warm, and mirror-bright: bold gardenia, crystalline musk, muguet, water blossoms, clear, slightly tart aquatic notes and a crush of white ginger."
I like this one. Sweeter than Persephone, but not cloying like Moon Rose. At first I smell mainly gardenia. Dries down to a cool, soft floral with tangyness. I understand what they mean by "icy, yet somehow warm."

RAKSHASA
Sandlewood, patchouli, & rose (the scents are weighted in this order to my nose)
Now this one was too 'masculine' on me, but loved it on my BF. Almost an incensey quality to it, but not in a bad '60s kinda way, more in an 'ancient exotic temple' sort of way. Mysterious & sexy.

Centzon Totochtin
Centzon Totochtin-Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood.
Wet it's sweet creamy coffee with a dusting of hmm nutmeg maybe?
dryer- it's spicy
After a few hours- It's powdery cocoa
I like it! Talk about many scents to go through. I had to keep smelling to see what was next! The coffee scent is real smooth on me, like I put a lot of cream and sugar in weak coffee.

Smut
Smut-Three swarthy, smutty musks sweetened with sugar and woozy with dark booze notes.
Wet - it's a tad sweet and perfumy on me with underlying musk
Dry- It reminds me of Sin's drunken sister. It's actually a different note but they're similar to my nose. Smut is not as earthy but it's definitely a bit boozy.
Good throw and on me it stays around for hours

Sin
Sin-amber, sandalwood, black patchouli and cinnamon.
Wet- it's earthy, sexy, spicy
Dry- it's as sin should smell, sultry amber and patchouli with cinnamon to spice things up. I know sandalwood is in there but I don't detect it seperately from the other notes.
A very sexy earthy smell that I'll always have on hand
Medium throw on me, it doesn't scream that I have it on but people in the room definitely comment on it so I know they smell it. It lasts about 8 hours on me.

Chimera-The fiery, volatile scent of cinnamon, thickened by myrrh, honeysuckle, and copal.
OMG! This is what I've been looking for! My skin is not amping the cinnamon to fiery. What I have instead is warm, creamy, cinnamony goodness with. It smells like Dana O'Shee with cinnamon added which I have been trying to achieve by layering Dana O'Shee with cinnamon scents. I will buying a 5ml of this, no question. I'm not good at picking out notes, but I imagine the sweetness of this is coming from the Honeysuckle. I can't stop sniffing.

Glitter
Glitter-white wine, heliotrope, d'Anjou pear, and lotus.
Wet-It's all pear wine mmmmmm
Dry- It's still pear wine but with hints of lotus.
I got more lotus and less wine as the day went on but even now I can smell the wine with the flower scent.
It has good throw and fairly long wear. But then I liked the smell so I did put it on a fairly wide area.
Lovely stuff, the lotus doesn't overpower the pearwine completely which I'm incredibly happy for. I have a bottle coming of this yay!

Lunacies: Budding Moon
Budding Moon: Budding Moon shines as Spring moves with its first breath, and this scent expresses that burst of life-affirming joy through an olfactory interpretation of Huang Quans flower-and-bird paintings. Plum blossom, peony, lotus root, Chinese musk and a hint of white ginger.
Love this. Sweet, fruity floral. A hint of peach. Peony and Plum (blossom?) A very light touch of white musk in the background. Maybe even a hint of creamyness. I don't get much ginger, but that's fine. Love, love this floral. It actually stays quite true to what I get out of the imp. Great for spring! When I wear it in my scent locket, I'm constantly trying to get whifs of it. It's . . . bright, sunny. Mmm.

BLOOD AMBER
BLOOD AMBER -- Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin.
And that description is exactly what it smells like out of the bottle.
Wet -- you can really smell the amber. Warm, sexy -- can't stop sniffing this one.
Dry -- there's something sweet, almost floral, mixed in with the amber but it's balanced really well.
My body chemistry has always loved ambers. This one's a keeper. Another HAVE TO HAVE bottle on the list!

Hanging Gardens -Wanderlust
The Hanging Gardens
Date palm, ebony, fir, pomegranite, plum, pear, quince, plum, gardenia, dry rose, grapevine.
This one turns very very sweet floral on me. All I get is gardenia, and it gave me a headache. One for the swap pile

Neo-Toyko- Wanderlust
Neo Toyko
ozone,metalics,bamboo,mountain air,cherry blossom,orchid,wet fruits
Wet- Very gorgeous ozone-y smell. Reminds me of Love's Rain that I used to wear as a kid.
Dry-Went very cherry blossom, which isn't bad, but I was hoping that the ozone smell would last a little longer.

misty forests,alder leaf,white rose
A nice feminine scent. Not overly sweet while wet. Turns pretty rose when dry. I think my skin really likes to sweeten BPAL scents.

Azathoth
Azathoth
tangerine,saffron,vetiver,black amber,cedarwood
I really wanted to like this one. I may have to try it again, but something just didn't sit right with me. It smelled kind of like musty basement??
I don't think my skin likes amber at all- it turns it into pure baby powder.

Spellbound- Love Potions
Spellbound
red musk,amber,roses
Wet- Whew! Strong. The notes are all very true. Reminds me of my Great Grandma's powder she had in her bathroom.
Dry-HIVES! Hard to wash off! That dang amber goes so powdery on me.
Another for the swap pile.

Swank-Bewitching Brews
Swank
Pomegranite martini
Why, yes, yes it is pomegranite martini! Smells absolutely DIVINE wet. Sweet, wet pomegranites. Slightly boozy, but not like I fell in a vodka bottle.
Dry- my body sweetens this quite a bit. But I still really like it. Really good throw. I still smell it on my wrist a day later.

The Jersey Devil-Bewitching Brews
The Jersey Devil
pine pitch,blackberry leaf,cranberry,cedarwood,tomato leaf
Wet- This is heavenly. I really smell the cedar and pine. Not so much the blackberry leaf or cranberry yet. Tomato leaf pops up with a yummy scent that reminds me of summer. Very earthy.
Drydown- I'm losing the tomato (booo!!!), and getting a very strong cranberry scent mixed with a little bit of pine. Good staying power. This is divine. Perhaps a big bottle. Just wish the cedar and tomato leaf would stick around longer. My body likes to amp up the fruits.

Embalming Fluid
Embalming Fluid
white musk,green tea,aloe,lemon
Wet- Yowsa! Electric lemon! I love it!
Drydown- It's almost masculine smelling. The green tea is really starting to come out. Finally one that doesn't go super sweet on me.
I love it-Big bottle for sure.

Squirting Cucumber-Rappaccini's Garden
Squirting Cucumber
wet, grassy greeness
Wet- Mmmmm!! I'm in heaven. This is absolutely wonderful. My favorite scent is mowed grass, and I get a wonderful dose of it here. The cucumber scent comes along nicely too. This is really, really divine.
Dry- Not so much grass anymore, just lovely, light cucumber. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a lot of staying power. This will for sure be a big bottle. My very favorite so far.

Glasgow-Wanderlust
Glasgow
blackberry and heather
I loved this at first but it went super sweet on me. It's very BBW Sun Ripened Raspberry. Stays pretty strong all day too. I'm thinking this might be a little too sweet for my taste.
