Bye-Bye to Blackheads?
I have problems with constant blackheads on my chin and forehead. Is there a way to get rid of these and stop them from coming back? Maybe a certain scrub? I was just on the OCM and that didn't get rid of them. IS there maybe a certain facila that can or something a dermatologist can do without putting me on any kind of medication? Thanks! ~~jax

I have had success using two products that I was already using, but I switched up the order in which I use them. The guy (yes, guy) at the Clinique counter told me to use the emergency mask first then use a scrub, such as the 7-day scrub. The mask brings all the gunk up to the surface and the scrub cleans it away. I did this twice, a couple days apart, and my blackheads got much better right away.
This goes without saying, but wash your face before using the mask.

get monthly facials that include extractions and use a gentle scrub, like a baking soda mix, every second day.

Is there a specific name that I can use in reference to this facial? So that people will know what I am talking about? Thanks so much for the responses! ~~jax

look for "deep-cleaning". some places offer "teen" facials that specialize in extractions.

Do you know of how to use the baking soda mix? I'm assuming it's something made from the baking soda we put in the fridge right?

yes, that's the stuff.
just add a half teaspoon to your cleanser, or mix a teaspoon with warm water to a paste consistency in your hand and rub in gently in a circular motion.

I'm getting a facial this evening!!!
Around the change of seasons my skin/pores always just gets all blocked up. A facial and the Spring and Fall seems to help me quite a bit.

You can make your own face scrub
Cornmeal exfoliatin scrub
2-3tsp of cornmeal and a little warm water
pour cornmean into palm of yer hand and add little water stir it together with yer finger to make a paste
then put it on your face then rinse with water
2-3 tsp of baking soda and a little warm water same as above
strawberry almond scrub
2 tsp bakin soda
1tsp ground almond
1 ripe strawberry (its ok to use frozen berries if thawed)
Mix the almonds and bakin soda together in small dish
slice a single strawberry into the bowl and mash it all together with qa fork or yer fingers
apply to yer face
then rinse
Milk and honey scrub
1 tbsp ground almonds
1 tsp honey
1 tsp milk or cream
mix all ingredients together in small dish apply to your face
rinse
As for the face scrubs do not do daily maybe once or twice a week
I just pmed you more about this
