Natural ways to brighten the eyes?

Are there any ways to brighten up your eyes without make-up or cosmetic surgery?

i use a dot of softly shimmery (not glittering) eyeshadow in the inner corners of my eyes.

Stila makes soft, creamy shadows that are good for this purpose, i find they don't have enough pigment to wear on my lids.

I've used white eye shadow on the inner corners of my eyes before. Do cucumbers only help with puffiness? I'd like to find something around my house that I could make into a concotion that would help alleviate the darkness. Kwim?

Wasn't there a thread a while back that drinking ACV will temporarily relieve dark under-eye circles? I swear I remember something about it. But supposedly it only last a day or so, and that's some foul-tasting stuff to be drinking every day.

Hah, I knew I wasn't crazy! Here's the thread, although I am still in no way advocating that you actually drink this nastiness.

I agree with the above in that white eyeliner and white shadow/shimmer on the inner corner of your eyes will brighten them up a bit. :] I don't know how to without using cosmetics... Maybe drinks lots of water and watch your nutrition?
There are some blue eye drops from France that are supposed to temporarily brighten the whites of your eyes, but I don't know how effective they really are. You can find them here for an exorbitant price. There was another company making a similar product, I think it was called Mavala, but it got recalled for some reason. I'm not sure why.
