Default L'Oreal's New At Home Glycolic Peel Kit

Has anyone tried the new at home peel from L'Oreal?

I used to spend close to $100 for a kit from Sephora but thought this one might be nice. I got some good recs using the actual acid doctor's offices use, but since it's my own face I need something goof proof.

A friend of mine is trying it and will be reporting back (well, I will also be rendering my own opinion as well, when I see her next! :P ).

I'll let you know my thoughts. I'm thinking of getting it.

In related thoughts... anyone here tried Estee Lauder's Idealist?

I think I'm going to start a thread on it...

Ok, now I'm confused. Is this the same as the L'Oreal microdermabrasion kit mentioned in the other thread? The glycolic peel one is definitely the one I saw a coupon for. If they are 2 different ones, then what's the difference and are they worth it?

Hey there,

I was confused at first too - and I must apologize closetcurly, I thought at first that the microdermabrasion kit was the one to which you were referring as well - and that's the one my friend is trying, not the peel.

There are two products rom L'oreal in the At Home Derm Solutions line - the microdermabrasion kit, called ReFinish, and the glycolic peel kit, called ReNoviste.

HTH!

ETA: If you go to L'oreal's site, you can get a $3 off coupon for the ReFinish as well!

It's the Renoviste I wanted to know about. I used to spend upwards of $85 for the Ellen Lange kit from Sephora but would love a cheaper alternative.

I'm going to try the aspirin mask as soon as the overzealous pore cleansing scab fades from my nose.

What's the aspirin mask supposed to do?

It's like a glycolic peel except it uses salicylic acid, a BHA.

There's another thread about it here and a really huge one on makeupalley.com.
