Red nose help...due to a cold

My nose is extremely red and raw now due to having a cold and having to blow my nose frequently. Does anyone have a suggestion of what I could to help it? I have been putting moisturizer on during the day and Vaseline at night. Is that the best I can do or do you have any other suggestions?

I'd probably use Neosporin at night instead of vaseline.
mrs. p is right!

Vaseline would only clog your pores. i try not to use moisturizers when i have a raw nose too, because they sting when i put them on.

i usually use a bit of olive oil to soothe the dryness and wait until i'm not blowing my nose every 2 minutes to work on getting rid of the dryness!

I did the Neosporin for a couple nights and that did the trick. Got rid of the peeling much quicker than usual. I still have a little dryness but that is the norm for this time of year (cold air drys my skin out super quick). Thanks!
