Default I need under-eye concealer help!

I have really terrible undereye circles, and recently I finally found the perfect shade and coverage for them in a thick concealer from MAC. But, I have a few lines under my eyes, and the concealer gathers in the creases and it looks awful. Just when I thought I'd had the perfect concealer, this problem springs up. Does anyone have any suggestions to prevent this?

Is it the one in the small pot? I have the same one and have the same problem. I think the shade is a bit off too, as I end up looking even heavier under the eyes after I apply it.

the creamy concealer that MAC has in a tube is better for the undereye area.

yea, it is the one in the pot. I like the shade though. I'm bummed that I got the wrong kind now!

the heavier one in a pot is good for hiding zits and broken capillaries around the nose.

and i always put it on *over* foundation!

i'm doing a column this spring about concealer - working title is "Undercover"!

Oy! I can't wait. While we were living in South Carolina, I always had a light tan because of all the sun. SPF only goes so far when it is sunny almost every day! Now that we are back in the frozen north, I am back to being pasty girl, and of course I'm older now so my dark circles are making me look like a boxer.
