MEOW users - how do you apply it?

I think I am reading on the meow forum that people wet the foundation? Or they are spraying over it. How do you guys use it? I have been just using a brush and sweeping it on.

I use use a powder brush and brush it on my face liek I would a loose powder until I get the coverage I want. I have never used it wet.
I had not heard of it being used wet either but some of the threads I skimmed through on that board seem to indicate they are either using it wet or spraying. I dont get it.

Spraying it? UMMM no. I'm just going to stick what I've been doing.
Me too.

People are silly. Why in the world would I want to apply a mineral foundation wet? If I wanted to do that, I'd just go back to using one of those crappy liquid good foundations from the drugstore.

I just apply with a kabuki brush and fluff it on til I get the coverage I want. I use very little actually.
Had you read that RCW? I was thinking just like you were - why do minerals if you are going to wet it. Made no sense to me either.

The only thing I had heard about applying minerals wet is that it will give you a heavier coverage. I don't really think that it is necessary since you can just build the coverage. I just put it on like powder and keep adding it till I get enough coverage for what I need.

Well, I'm the outcast here I guess. I don't exactly apply it wet, but after buying several brushes (not cheap ones either, each was pricey and highly rated on makeupalley) I realized that I am incompetent. I can't get good results with a brush. And brushes irritate my skin (even the soft ones).

So I usually apply with my fingers, right after sunscreen. Basically I'm mixing it into the sunscreen on my face. I've mixed it with sunscreen before applying but that's too much hassle, usually end up mixing more than I need.

I'd also be willing to try one of those spray "fixers" which are supposed to help keep the powder on. Except I'm too lazy to buy one and my skin is too ornery in the summer for me to mess with new products.
