Keratosis pilaris - what works?

Anyone have any scarring for KP? I've been treating it with a loofah and lotion. it has decreased, but now I have scarring. Anything rec's for the scarring?
I know cocoa butter is good for scarring. I just went to my dcotor for KP and he gave me prescription Salex. I'm not sure if it is working yet. I will give it a week and let you know.
Starting my curly resolution! 3a/3b with some waves thrown in. Haven't been CG in a while. Need product suggestions.
Kurlee,

I'd really like to know how that product works out for you. Keep us posted! I may have to jump on the PB bandwagon.
i have this, but i think i'm going to take some photos a post how "bad" mine is. maybe someone can recommend something for me? i went to the derm like a year ago and he gave me pretty rudimentary instructions, but i'd really like to minimize the appearance of this as much as possible.

if anyone else would like to share photos, let me know. i'll post mine on my www below and pm you the password. ill probably have photos by this evening.

I'm not even sure how I came across this thread. It's like years old But I have however found something that seems to work so I thought I'd post it anyhow. Maybe it will help someone ! An old co worker of mine had these bumps and swore by virgin coconut oil for just about everything including this. It's pretty inexpensive at like 12oz for $8. I've been using the "NOW foods virgin coconut oil". A little goes a long way. It seems to help mine

Hair Type: mix of 3's, growing out an angled bob, color-treated red.
Current products: GVP conditioning balm for co-wash and leave in, Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle, Pattern Pusha and Garnier Anti-humidity hairspray
Location:Sunny Florida
Hair idol: Kimberly Schlapman from Little Big Town
It does, but only for a little bit until it soaks in. I was really surprised...I thought it would be much more greasy. It smells pretty good too The coworker I mentioned in my previous post bought mine for me as a going away gift. She got me interested. I even used some as a conditioning hair/scalp treatment the other day. You can buy it at any health food store...or even online. Good luck...lemme know how it works for ya
