Default Exfoliating skin

I'm thinking about doing some exfoliation (for the first time) on my body. What about Jessicurl's "Body Buffer"? Is there something better? Maybe something homemade?

I came across this recipe in Sept's issue of Body & Soul magazine:

Mix equal parts sea salt and warm, liquefied honey in a bowl. Massage the mixtue all over your body, then gently rinse off with warm water. I haven't tried it, but it sounds intriguing... The salt will exfoliate and the honey will moisturize.

I got sea salt from the grocery store - a higher end one, I think. Maybe Whole Foods? Trader Joe's might sell it too, I'm not sure....
