Default Mascara revisited

I forgot to mention this on the Non-hair discussion about mascara, but I don't need anything for lengthening.

My lashes are long enough already & when anything is applied to them, the top ones rub my glasses.

So, I'm looking for non-waterproof non-lengthening mascara that's preferably also not thick, & I'll take regular brown (not brown/black) because I doubt I'll be able to find anything in blond or light brown.

Do the recommendations on the other thread still apply?

Thanks!

Covergirl Volume Exact is good. It comes in brown.

I have a coupon for CoverGirl!

Guess where I'm going tomorrow?

Today all of my mascara expired. I decided to try L'oreal Telescopic. So far, so good.

Oh, I bought a tube of the Volume CoverGirl. It clumped. But at least it did NOT make my lashes a mile long!

liz, i have a similar problem, but my lashes aren't quite that long. maybe try the telescopic; it doesn't clump for me.

i've also tried that FLAT mascara by physician's formula. have you tried that? It's called fabulously long and thick, but it mostly made my lashes thick.

you may like the lash tint from neutrogena. that's what i normally buy.

The one from Neutrogena only comes in black. I'm just so worried that it'll be too dark.

I haven't tried the one by Physician's Formula. I have a coupon for them too!

the neutrogena one is not very dark at all, but then my lashes are black.

I'll go ahead & give it a try anyhow. Someone on another thread recommended it too. I may have a Neutrogena coupon too. Or maybe not.

It clumped??????

I've not had any trouble with the Volume Exact or the Lash Exact clumping.

I like the Loreal Telescopic mascara, too, but I don't think it's what you are looking for. I think you will get too much length from it.

It's possible I just had too much on the wand tip.

It does, for the bottom lashes only though. I decided to give Neutrogena Lash Tint a try & really like it. It's perfect for my thicker/heavier upper lashes, but I like something a little more substantial for the bottom thinner/lighter lashes. It all works out.
