Drugstore moisturizer recs

Gosh, I'm obsessed with the makeup forum lately I just read a 6 or 7-page thread about skincare .. RedCatWaves, you are a goddess!!

But, unfortunately I can't afford the expensive stuff you recommend for moisturizers. I would like some recommendations of products I can buy at a drugstore/target/co-op/healthfood store.

Currently using:
BP cleanser (I know it's horrible but until I can get the DY wheat germ, it's what works for my occasional acne)
Vitamin E oil for moisturizer. Works well but I still see dryness even after upping the amount I use twice daily.

I'm thinking perhaps one from Aveeno? But I know nothing about what ingredients to look for or to avoid in a moisturizer.

Aveeno moisturizers are so fragrance-laden they are irritating (I love and use their daily body moisturizer fragrance-free). I'm using derma-e Alpha-Lipoderm advanced repair cream (no SPF, Whole Foods) and Neutrogena SPF45 Day and Neutrogena Age-reverse anti-oxident night cream. To cleanse I use Ponds towelettes, and occasionally grapeseed oil + shea butter mixed in my hand, rubbed in and rinsed off.

So I just googled it and got to the olay site ... there's like a million regenerist products. Which one do you use for a moisturizer?

i use the Regenerist serum.

this is the only moisturizer that has been proven - in a scientific double-blind study (which is the only way to go) - to actually reduce fine lines.

the down-side... the reduction is about 10% - barely visible to the naked eye. but that's more than others on the market, even more expensive ones. (this can be found in an old issue of Consumer Reports.)

prevention is better than anything else - this includes sunscreen and wearing BIG DARK sun glasses!

Prevention IS the key. Good thing I LOVE big dark sunglasses ... sunscreen is a different topic, 'cause I have no idea what to get ... and I'm scared it'll irritate my sensitive skin and/or make me feel greasy. Ahhhh help me, rouquinne!

I use Cetaphil SPF 15 moisturizer during the day, and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Intensive Anti-Wrinkle night cream at night. The Neutrogena moisturizer is scientifically proven, although the claim that it mimimizes deep wrinkles is false. I love both products.

Aveeno is too irritating for me as well. For all over body moisture, I use Kiss My Face aloe and olive oil moisturizer. I really love it! It's the first all-over moisturizer that actually works well for me.
2a/b. I love AOHR!
alicia, there are dozens of threads on sunscreen on this board, if you do a search.

i don't have oily skin, so i'm not the best to recommend something for that. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer is one product that is recommended over and over again.
