Skin x Exercise

So, lately I noticed that exercise plays a big role in skin appearance (at least mine). I haven't been able to workout for a while, because of sport injuries. My skin, which is prone to allergies and some acne, got horrible. I had a major breakout, and saw the dermatologist. Finally, about two weeks ago, I got back to my exercise routine (after 3 months).
I observed that after I jog/run, my skin looks it's best. I don't know if it is because of the sweating, increased blood flow or both. If I only go out for a walk, I don't get any improvements.

Has anyone noticed similar benefits after working out?

It got to the point where I did absolutely everything I could to avoid sweating. It kind of ticks me off that I had to go to such lengths to try to make my acne better, and had to let my body go in the process. My acne is cured now, but I still hate sweating...which is why I swim now instead of walking or running. I still sweat while swimming, I just can't feel it.

I started back up again at the beginning of the year and that combined with a MUCH better skin routine (thanks RCW!) make for a much happier face.

I have actually noticed a difference in my skin as well. I'm trying to get fit and trim and have never been athletic at all, however I noticed last week that my skin had a definite different glow to it and it was more clear. It must be from the chemicals being released while exercising. The endorphines are a wonderful thing.
