Grapeseed Oil for acne, oily skin?

Several months back, I bought grapeseed oil for my hair. My hair hated it.
The other day I read that grapeseed oil can be a good pre-cleansing for acne-prone skin.
I just tried it.

It got most of my makeup off. I rubbed grapeseed oil on my face, let it set for 30 secs or so, then rinsed it, and then added my facewash to finish it off.

I noticed it didn't get all my makeup off. That's okay, because I just wanted to test it out. I will wash my face again later tonight before I go to bed.

Should I let it set on my face longer? Should I rinse it completely off before adding facewash? I think it was half-way or mostly off before I used facewash?

It did seem to cut my washing time down quickly, so if all it takes is waiting a minute before rinsing, that's still quicker for me.
That's right, I said it! I wear scrunchies!!

I am a sulfate washing, cone slabbing, curly lovin' s.o.b. The CG police haven't caught me yet.

Did it again today...I like it a lot.
Anyone have any problems using oils to wash face?

These are two places where you can find out information on the oil cleansing method. I've been doing it for about three weeks--and liking it. When I went to the dermatologist last week for my roseaca laser treatment, I took him a copy of the article. He thought my skin was great and is going to try it out to see if he's going to suggest it to his patients. I'm older and my skin is dryer, so I'm currently doing 10% castor oil/90% grape seed oil. Dermatologist thought grapeseed oil might have some chemical composition that made it naturally exfoliating. I also bought some other oils to try, when the grapeseed oil is gone. It does remove the makeup.

I've been doing the oil cleansing method too for about a month now. I use a combo of olive oil and castor oil and hold a hot, wet cloth over my face twice for 15 seconds each time. Are you using a wet cloth to steam? Maybe that would help to "loosen" things up, and the makeup might come off more easily.
