MUAC Toner and Aubrey Face Wash update

Is this actual Pomega5 bars ya'll are getting at WF or another similar brand? I didn't see anything that sounded even similar when I was there the other day, but maybe I just wasn't looking for the right thing.

I'm glad you're liking the toner, Xcptnl - I agree it's worth the cost if it continues to work as well as it is. I had two patches that were staying constantly broken out, and now nothing's left except some scars. Even they are finally beginning to fade.

I use and love them both. HTHs!

The teens for green site indicates you can buy on their site but you cannot buy individual items which is odd. Only the collection. But here is their site just in case you are interested.

I went to WF thinking to get a few more of those teens for greens pomega bars. There were several products from that line but a little sign said temporarily out of the bars.... Hopefully that means they're just popular and not going to be discontinued, but who knows?

I am still having good luck with the pomega5 or the green tea soap from MUAC....depending upon which one I grab and the toner. I got some bumps near the end of my period but SOOO much better than normal.

Thank you ladies for all your tips on products-I probably never would have known about them without you all!!

Yea! Me, too, for the most part - just a very minor little zit every once in a while. Thank you - I think it was you, Xcptnl, I first heard about the toner from - someone here, anyway. I hadn't noticed it at MUAC myself.

We have luvmylocs to thank for the toner info. She mentioned it in her thread and then I mentioned it in others but she was the one who eyespyed it first!!

I'm really out of the loop as our internet's been down for 21 days! (the joys of country living - we just got it back today)...but what toner have you been using?

It's not cheap, but it's good. Cleared up some bad hormonal cystic acne I was having when nothing else would.

Take that back - I have had it a month-so probably 2 months if you use 2x a day..I am not stingy with it either..I make sure the areas I am putting it on are damp.

I've used about 3/4 of my first bottle after 2-1/2 months, but once I got it cleared up, I usually only use it at night unless I'm having a little flare-up. Like you, I don't use it sparingly when I use it since I want its full effect.

I'd probably use it morning and night if I didn't have seborrheic dermatitis - when I used it twice a day regularly, I eventually had a little cracking and flaking in my nose creases which made me cut back on it some. A little too much alcohol and acids, I guess.

I use Neutrogena AF toner in the morning, if I use anything, but do they have another that has the anti-bacterial/healing properties of the MUAC? I tried one of their others - can't remember the name - but didn't like it.

I can see that if you were just using the MUAC toner for pore reducing reasons being too much $ but for me and my acne issues - it is a godsend!

the one i like is the pore refining, it's in a white bottle. the name is not really all that and it does have a heavy (but nice) fragrance but it works well for me, especially in my hot humid climate. now once i switch if i start seeing issues i'll buy the muac in a heartbeat. nice skin is worth it. i just didn't think the toner was the defining variable for me but if it turns out it is i'll go back.

Just thought I would pop in and update. It is soo much better. Still not perfect but so much better than it was and that makes me feel better. I have not used the aubrey face wash at all-other than that one time. I am still using the Pomega5-the teen version and the MUAC toner 2x a day. I have thrown in peter thomas roth pumpkin enzyme peel a couple of times as well. I have done the MUAC 40% lactic acid peel a couple of times as well.

I still have my 1st derm appt in October. So we will shall see what happens at that as well.
