Yes! Please post swatches! I'm curious about the lipsticks. I don't think much else in the collection would work for my NC50 complexion

in honour of this thread, today i am wearing Harlot perfume oil from BPAL, all black, and some of my LE MAC stuff!

okay, i have to try the photos again because they're all blurry, but i'll keep working on them.

the eyeshadows are all pale - How to Marry is so white it barely shows up on the white paper. Showgirl is a perfect blue-gray, though, and i bought it because i need something different in my stash.

i got the Pure Zen lipstick - gorgeous! - and Kid Orange nail polish.

NCC, check out Deeply Adored lipstick; it's on the burgundy side of red and i think you might like it if you can wear the blue tones. also, the darker nail colours might be something you'd like.

i didn't get a chance to swatch the two shades of Dazzleglass, but they were both on the light side. and the blushes were pale and paler!!!

the lip pencils are all from the perm collection, as were the brow and liner shades.

i'm going to go paint my nails Kid Orange now!

however, my email from MAC this morning said that using the code LINE at checkout will get you free standard shipping through December 31st!

I'm a little bummed that I wasnt able to get any lippies from the MM collection. Here in Memphis, All the MAC counters sold out in about 2 hours. There was nothing left when I got off work yesterday.

The artist there said that folks were purchasing 5 or 6 at a time. She even said that some of them were already on Ebay for $400. I love Marilyn but to spend that kinda money for a tube of lipstick would be cray.
Guess I didnt need it.

If it helps, they are not the mattes that everyone was blogging about. Several are satins. I am not terribly happy about that.

ETA: Deeply Adored has already sold out! Man!

Ladies I just left the MAC holiday collection preview and I have swatches and pictures galore for you. Let me just say that there are SEVERAL must haves in this collection and it will be quite a few things that sell out. If you misses out on Moxie during the MAC by request collection, there is a lipstick that is almost exactly like moxie, but much more wearable!

I got my goodies on Black Friday! I got 2 lipsticks (seductive intent and night blooming) and a blush (passionately tempted).

check the reviews first...two of the colors are repromotes, only two are new and the quad has been slammed for its performance. poor color payoff and fallout. Even the black shade (Carbon) has been said not to perform as well as the e/s single you can buy from the store.

That having been said, I am getting two l/s, two l/g and the Passionately Tempted blush this afternoon!

I'm waiting for my Sleek Makeup to arrive, don't need to be spending any more money...haha

^^if you have Magenta blush that came out this spring, you might want to leave this one alone. I have not swatched it yet but when I pulled the Passionately Tempted out of the box I swore to myself that it was Magenta in the wrong box. I took it out to make sure. The only difference is that Magenta was matte while Passionately Tempted is a satin. I will say it pulls a TINY bit more violet but barely noticeable.
