They told you wrong. It is not an online only collection. I bought several pieces at my local MAC store and at Nordstrom. The line is supposed to be available at all MAC locations, so if there is any left (and there was at my MAC store, whch opened early today, and I got there three hours later) I would try calling around. And I would try to get someone at my local Macy's to give a correct answer. It is possible the associate you spoke to was incorrect, but I cannot vouch for Macy's since I didn't buy any there, and it was precisely because of the customer service issue you just experienced.

Thank you. Gonna call another Macys right now. I was being lazy as this one was closet to me. We dont have a MAC store here so Macys is all I have. Thanks again for the info though.

Strength collection isn't hitting Macy's counters I believe. Just MAC Pro, MAC stores, and Nordstroms. MACY's does have après chic and there are two sleeper shades is that collection that are gorgeous on WOC....hot chocolate and warm and cozy.

I got Cozy Up - but I slept on Hot Chocolate...something about the description on the site as "dirty plum" hurt my feelings. I may have to re-investigate now that it is in stores.

ETA: my Cozy Up arrived...I will have to play with it. Not as "deep caramel" as I had hoped.

Yeah cozy up is a bit light, but with a good liner I think it will work. I'm telling you...get that hot chocolate!

I'm about to buy hot chocolate and high altitude, they look nice. cozy up looks like a lighter mocha and I can't go any lighter without looking cray cray. Not sure about haute altitude now

If you guys want a nice nude, I didn't think Naked, jump lip pencil by UD was gonna look nice but it actually does on me. It's semi opaque I think that's why. If they have a naked lip liner I'm going to buy that.

the new list of items about to be discontinued is up and i'm just shocked at the longtime colours that are going:

eye shadows: Juxt, Shimmermoss, Samoa Silk, Hepcat, Browndown, Purple Haze and Romp in the pan

pigments: Chocolate Brown (!), Frozen White, Pink Bronze, Neon Orange

lipstick: Gleam and Sheer Plum

lipglass: Enchantress (*sigh*), Chai, Shock-o-Latte, Spirited

lustreglass: Spring Bean, Ornamental (!)

blush: Magenta, LoverRush (!)

most of the rest is leftovers from special collections. but geez.... Juxt???? Chocolate Brown pigment is at least 25 years old and i know Enchantress has been around for at least 12 years...

so i got some Enchantress and decided to buy the "Sparkle, Neely, Sparkle" eye shadow.

bad, BAD, decision!

it looks lighter in the pan than it goes on and it's like the shimmering version of Embark for all you Embark fans out there...

of which i am one.

*sigh*

i am wearing it today with Deckchair pigment and Satin Taupe in the crease and it is *gorgeous*!

the Valentine collection Archie's Girls is available online and in stores. there's a pale and sweet part named for Betty and a dark and sultry part named for Veronica!
