MAC Holiday 2011 is now available!
Ice Parade makeup bags and kits are now available including the ever-popular brush kits! Eye and lip kits are available in a variety of warm and cool shades.
The Viva Glam kit this year is a round red makeup bag containing the two Lady Gaga VG lippies.
They have the Kids Helping Kids xmas cards, and a silver tree decoration too.
On top of all that is the winter collection Glitter & Ice; there are shadows, paint pots, lipsticks, Dazzle Glass, powders, lashes and nail polishes.

I picked up a few things from the new Daphne Guinness collection that released today! I got the Aurora Pigment, which I'm thrilled, cause while I was there they mentioned they only got in 4 OF THEM! TOTAL! Thank God I got there early! Also got a Nebula Pigment and then got one of the Pro Longwear shadows from the Styledriven collection in Keep Your Cool. I'm very excited for the Naturally collection that comes out on the 5th of January, there's a TON of neutral/nude lipsticks and glasses and I want them all!

MAC seems to be retiring Hepcat and Shimmermoss e/s...AND Luminary Lustreglass, AND Loverush and Flirt and Tease blushes, AND Hodgepodge lip pencil, AND my shade of Select Sheer pressed powder and tinted moisturizer and ALL of the darker shades of Mineralize Foundation.
I am pouring out a little liquor. Right down my throat, for dinner. After I hit up several MAC counters enroute home.

as usual, MAC is going overboard on collections - TWO new ones this week!
the first one is a small collection of bold colours in honour of legendary interior designer Iris Apfel, the woman behind the design and restoration of the White House for nine presidents.
there are 5 eye shadows and 5 lipsticks and some secondary items.
Mrs. Apfel is 90 years old and still consults and does lectures on design.
the second collection (i better go freeze my credit cards into blocks of ice!) is called MAC Naturally.
after all the cool colours of so many collections over the fall winter (holiday/Daphne Guiness), i am IN LOVE with these gorgeous warm-hued natural shades for lips, eyes and cheeks.
there are 5 mineralize eye shadows, 4 lippies, 4 lip glass shades (in the amazing pink-nude shades i adore and have too much of already - eep!), 3 shades of mineralize blush and 2 mineralize skin finishes.
all are available online right now and will be in stores/at counters on Thursday.

I think I can officially consider myself a member of this club! LOL! I just got back from the MAC store with a big haul. I had a very generous gift card from my students' parents and some other Christmas money, so I went crazy. I was looking for a good foundation. I ended up with:
Studio Finish Concealer
Eye Brows in Fling
Prep + Prime face primer
Matchmaster Foundation
Stripling Brush #187
Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone Treatment
Lipglass in Rich and Witty
The associate that helped my had helped me pick out an eyeshadow quad a few weeks ago. She was really good today. She did a full face for me because she didn't want me to go out without some color! I really like the foundation so far. My skin is soft and natural but has good coverage.
I was at Walgreens and looked for the Monistat Chafing Gel but couldn't find it. I'm hoping to soon and compare the primers to it. If it does just as good a job, I will return the primers and splurge on some blush, powder, eyeliner, or more shadows!
She did use a new moisturizer and eye cream on me that just came out today. They have a gel consistency and are very light. I'm still trying out some PSF moisturizer, so I passed on those (not to mention I had met my budget limit!).

That is a lot-how fun!
My team gave me a MAC gift card a couple of months ago and I still have not used it. Just going to stock up on basics.
Since I can only use mattes, I am limited even when new limited editions come out.

Ha!!! This title describes me sooo well. Was drooling online at the Iris Apfel collect & DH says "Do you really need more lipstick?" Me-Crazy eyes "No I don't need more but I never ever mention all the Cowboys stuff you buy, do I?" Him-"Carry on". Humph, that's what I thought.

Yes, Ma'am. Im going when I leave work today. I ordered some of the Naturally lipglass (Wee Coquette-soo pretty) the other day but now kicking myself that I didnt get one of the blushes, ?honey.
I will probably end up with all of lipglasses & a few lipsticks from the Naturally collect b/c Iam the neutral Queen.

i saw that many of the Iris Apfel lipsticks are sold out online. do y'all think they're sold out in the stores too? what lipstick shades are y'all liking from this line? i want that bright pink!
