I got my "Photo" lipstick today; it goes on darker than I expected.

Also, so much cardboard for just a lipstick!

Anyway, I'm layering it with their "Twig"; very hard to find a brown that's just right.

mes amies, i am about to post the most envy-inducing MAC post of my entire almost-13-years on NC:

Sydney Stoyan of The National Post (a major national newspaper up here in Canada), got to spend a day at MAC's manufacturing facility outside Toronto to create her own lipstick!

Hey Sailor features a colour collection, the bronzing collection, and tote and makeup bags. there's a great new shade of red lipstick called Red Racer.

THe Hey Sailor collection is so blah to me...though there are to lipglasses that caught my eye. I'm waiting on the Beth Ditto collection and the Casual Summer collection to hit stores (or the web). Those lip/cheek combo pots look interesting and the Beth Ditto collection has two lipstick shades that I'm interested in.
