I'm new from Seattle

Hi all,

I just discovered this site and the forum following the NYT article about curly hair. I can't believe I have been missing out all this time, but at least I am here now. About my hair: 3b/c, super thick, somewhat frizzy, very dry. Products: deva no- poo and one- condit, redken butter smooth down leavin-in, herbal essence spray gel, john freida frizz ease. Those are the products I have been using for years that have worked pretty well, but I am always looking for improvements. After getting a Deva cut by a curl consultant here in Seattle, I loved the way my hair looked and bought all the products. However, I could never recreate the look at home and my hair looked worse than ever so I went back to my old regiment. I just tried doing the Deva regiment and plopping afterward thanks to suggestions here, and it is an improvement but still needs work.

Sure, it is Betsy from Vain. She is recommended here on the CurlSalons site, although I found her before I discovered that by using the Devachan site. She is trained in Deva technique. Good luck!
