Thanks to naturallycurly.com, I'm newly committed to the curly way of life!

I was wondering why my dye jobs faded so badly, now I know: sulfite shampoos. I switched to the new L'Oreal Evercreme shampoo and cleansing conditioner this week, and I can already tell a difference! Too bad my (former) hairdresser was clueless in this regard. I didn't like being a redhead.

Tomorrow I go get a cut with a Devachan specialist - 1 1/2 hours both ways - and I'm sure her eyes will pop out when she sees the dye job I just did on myself. Oy. In a bad way. Luckily it's a semi-perm color. I look forward to washing it out. LOL.

The stylist ended up talking me out of a cut, and into growing it a bit more to see what happens. She showed me how to do a Devachan shampoo/etc, and the comments when I posted to FB were great "red carpet hair!" She also fixed my botched dyejob.

You are SO RIGHT about this place being addicting. Lots of curl addicts having fun here!
