Default Hello from Germany!

Hey everyone,

my name is Tina and I live over in Germany.
I used to have bouncy 3b/c spirals but growing my hair long and dying it with henna for over two years has turned it into a limp mixture of 2c/3a.

After cutting my hair back to APL and the curls not really coming back I decided to try and get them back.
So I'm always on the lookout for curl enhancing products and techniques.

I've already dyed my henna lenghts black using chemical dye which seemed to have brought back some of the curl.
And I can see the roots come out much curlier.

I do modified cg because co washing gives me scalp irritation. So I low poo two times a week and use lots of oil to seal in the moisture.

Aaaand I think I might try and grow out my natural hair color. It always looked horribly gray in contrast to henna but next to black it's actually quite a nice dark brown. We'll see...

Hey that is so cool that you are from Germany. My family lives there and my parents were born there but I live In the states but I still visit once a year. Back to your curls I think you should continue what you are doing, it seems like your curls are coming back! Try using a deep conditioner once or twice a week (it helps a lot!) hope this helps ^^

Thank you, ladies!

germanbella: Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely gonna try that! And cool your parents are from Germany! Do you still speak German?

Scrit: Neither did I... until I searched the web for possible reasons of my curl loss and stumbled across lots of reviews saying henna could work like some sort of light ralaxer. It doesn't change everyone's texture but it certainly did mine...
And great you're from Switzerland. If you find a good product here, tell me. All the good stuff for curls like KCCC and so on seems to only be available in the US...
