Default Questions galore!!

Ok...second post in a matter of minutes! Lol...I'm just super excited & wanna know everything!

So today I did my last sulfate shampoo & then did a co-wash & leave in...did the proper scrunching of gel & am air drying. Ok, so tomorrow do I just wet my hair in the shower & do a leave in again? Or just wet w/ a squirt bottle & scrunch more conditioner & gel? When do I do another cowash? Sorry to ramble...just über excited!

Thanks! 😃

Welcome, curlichelli! I pineapple my hair at night (a very high, loose ponytail) and sleep on a satin pillowcase to protect my curls. In the morning, I take down the pineapple, spritz with water, shake my head and scrunch and I'm usually good to go. Many curlies co-wash daily. Many just wet and add a little more conditioner and gel. It's a matter of experimenting and seeing what works best for you.

Thanks mhen76!

Will give it a go! I'm just getting to bed now as I work 7p-7a 😝

Fingers crossed my shoulder length hair stays atop my head!

Have a great day!

I generally don't know what I am going to do to my hair "tomorrow". I always decide what it needs when I get up and look in the mirror. Sometimes (not often) I just run my fingers through it. More often, I dampen with a spray bottle with conditioner mixed with water and scrunch. If it feels like it needs cleaning, I wash. But, I never know in advance.

Thanks Raindear!

That makes a lot of sense! I guess we'll see what it looks like in the AM! 😊 Do you put the lighter conditioner or a heavier on in the water bottle? And how much? Thanks for your help!

I use Cure Care (Sally's-one of my favorite things) or Suave Naturals 50% conditioner 50% water. I live in the desert, so I sometimes spray this on my hair late in the day, too. And, sometimes I add 20-40 drops Neutral Protein Filler (Sally's).
