Finally Joined

Hi All,

I've been naturally curly for many years now. I bought the CG book the year the first one came out, and I haven't looked back. However I still have issues with my hair and I have been reading through these forums on and off for years. I finally joined because I would like to be part of the discussion. Also my hair has changed a lot since I first started being natural. In highschool I would said I was 3a or even 3b

(This photo was my highschool come coming... look at those ringlets!)

Then in college they relaxed a little but still had a lot of definition

Now I can't decided if my hair is 2c or 3a. my top layer has ringlets but my underlayer straightens out quickly.

Here is my hair 2 weeks ago after a cut at Devachan in Soho (I haven't made it look this nice since, I can't figure out what they did differently):

So what does everyone think, am I 2c or 3a?

also I apparently need to figure out how to post pictures
if you go down to the add attachments under the advance reply you can just add them there as thumbnails.

Also, its looks like you may have a bit of both. . .

started CG on 6/25/12.
  • 2c with a strait underneath
  • normal elasticity on top, none on the underneath
  • Fine side of Normal
  • Thick hair
  • Poriosity is a mystery. I think its all over the place.
Welcome!
The more recent pix look like 2c.
