#1: Straight hair turning wavy postpartum
My whole life I've had stick straight hair. Thick, soft and silky. After having my first daughter my hair started turning wavy. Now I'm post partum (6 months) with my second daughter and my hair keeps getting more waves. It started in the back and has worked it's way to the front BUT the front is a mixture of straight and wave. The back is getting curly. It's only been since Feb 2012 when I cut my hair that the waves started really showing and I still don't know how to take care of my hair. My sis in law is a hair dresser and she gave me deva curl, the conditioner works great but the cleanser didn't seem to clean my hair very well at the roots. If I try to scrunch it after a shower with gel when it dries the front looks like a messy, needs to be brushed straight haired girl...and my hair all over starts to poof/ frizz. My hair is still thick, soft (and silky when brushed but poofs) so it doesn't seem dry but I'm at a loss of what to do. Any ideas??? Thanks!
