Default New Intro

Hello,
I have been natural for four years. However, I have Heinz 57 hair (4 textures) which is very thick and often dry. I am eager to learn new techniques about how to take care of my hair. I what to try using henna to cover my gray but I do not want jet black hair. I wanted natural looking color with natural highlights. I always had long hair passed my shoulder but wanted to be grown and starting using relaxers. My hair does not like chemicals. My hair has been very healthy for the last four years but it has always splits easy and I started graying early.

Welcome, mickeyleo! This is a great place to learn about how to care for your hair. Read, read, read! It can all be a little overwhelming at first but the pieces will fall into place. Have fun!
