Smile newbie question products for hair type

Hello,
I am interested in any experience or advise on all hair products for type 2c some 3a low porosity and is slightly thin.
This site rocks. I saw a post about the sleep method that someone else posted about- day 1 making it crunchy with product and day 2 results in -I have no frizz and perfect curls after sleeping on it. I think there is a lot of good info on here.
thanks,
Lori

Hi, lorimaddoxpa! My hair is fine and the porosity is on the low side. I love Shea Moisture products. My favorite of all products is Tresemme Naturals conditioner. Nothing beats that for my hair. Keep poking around the site - you'll find tons of suggestions!

Hair properties are much more important for choosing ingredients/products. Just look for people with similar texture and porosity and see what they use (in signatures.) It's the best place to start. After that, it's trial and error. Discovering what your hair likes.

The other thing to do is read, read and read some more. The more you can learn about your hair, the better.

Welcome!!

If your hair is thin, I recommend protein and if your hair is easily weighed down, I recommend a light to medium gel (or other styling product).
