Greeting all

I am new to the world of Natural hair...I am 29 years old...will be turning 30 this year and I figured it was time to change. I have a 10 mos that is mixed with African American and Puerto Rican so she has a beautiful grade of hair that just curls up. I don't want her growing up putting harsh chemicals in her hair so I have to start this for her as well as for myself.

When I was litte I had a curl (wave neavou) something like that then I transitioned out of that and started getting relaxers put in my hair when I was around 11 so for 19 years I have been killing my hair! this past year I got my hair highlighted and now have a lot of breakage at the top from blow drying and flat ironing my hair EVERY week!!! I'M DONE WITH ALL OF THAT!!!!

I believe my last relaxer was in Dec 2012 from this day forward I will not be putting any more HEAT on my hair nor will I be putting in more harsh chemicals in my hair!

I was skeptical about since a sulfate free shampoo because of the non lathering aspect of it, but it made my hair feel AMAZING!!!

Searching for a transition buddy if there is anyone out there!
